G----, a 38 year female survivor with three children, who participates in Underground Railroad's Transitional Housing program, was interested in going back to school.  Because of subsidized housing offered by the Underground Railroad and support from her advocate in applying for financial education resources she has been able to further her education.
G---- returned to school to complete her GED and has now completed two semesters of college.  She plans to complete her bachelor's degree and wants to help others in the future.  G---- views college as a mechanism to improve her financial stability and her ability to maintain permanent housing.
